No out of bounds – All lost balls to be played at point of entry as lateral drop 2 club lengths from cut line (add one stroke). *Sometimes it may be best to re-tee as it’s POINT of ENTRY.
Maximum score/hole – pick up is Triple +3 for handicaps 0-18, Quad +4 for handicaps 19+ on holes they get two handicap strokes
Relief – Play as ball lies, except relief no nearer the hole from any casual water, divots, holes, rocks, roots, holes, paths, fire ants, holes, etc. (1 Driver club length no closer to the hole) / approved by another player.
Handicaps – Margarita Cup Formula will adjust handicaps after each round as per rules of the event (See Handicap Adjustment section below)
Tees – set by committee.
Tiebreaker – All ties for events will be broken by GAO retrogression rules, best final round, if still tied – best final round back 9, if still tied – final 6, final 3, final hole, then to prior day.
Pace of play & Gimme’s – Keep a good pace and be aware of your pace and support your group to achieve this. No gimme’s, all putts are to be holed in the bottom of the cup (unless Max score has been reached for that hole).
Rookies – Not eligible to win the overall Margarita Cup as a player must have a minimum of 6 verified Margarita Cup scores in the vault for an official Margarita Cup Handicap. No Rookies in ’25.
Decisions – JL is the official Referee & Scorer, failing him Jay, failing him Q, and failing him Mick.

Example: NET score of 81 will add 1 to the previous round’s handicap for that player
